Marianne Christensen
As a physiotherapist I have a special interest in musculoskeletal injuries and overuse conditions in the lower extremity. In the Foot and Ankle Orthopaedics I hold a diagnostic function in the outpatient clinic where I combine my clinical experience with research to provide best evidence based treatment as a keystone in my clinical practice.
During the last 10 years I have seen more than 500 patients with Achilles tendon ruptures, managing the treatment course and collecting data for the Danish Achilles tendon rupture database DADB.
PhD studies
“Early functional rehabilitation for Achilles tendon rupture“
The aim is to improve the muscle strength and function in the lower leg after rupture and to enhance the clinical implementation of research knowledge.
