Efe Levent Aras

Efe Levent Aras is an orthopaedic spine surgeon.  After graduating from medical school, he has moved to Denmark for research in 2009 ,and obtained his PhD degree in 2015 from Aarhus University and received specialist title in orthopedic surgery in 2022. During his residency , he has been spine surgery travelling fellow with APSS, and visited spine surgery departments in Japan, Taiwan and Malaysia.  

His main research interest is spine traume, clinical outcomes and health economics. During his PhD , he has supervised several international research students for several projects. Recently he has been awarded research grant from Helsefonden for to investigate health care burden of cervical fractures in elderly population, and currently working on several research topics inclusive lumbas disc replacement,  adolescent idiopathic scoliosis and spine fractures.
