The pain relief and functional improvements reported by patients surgically treated for degenerative knee joint disease is the motivation for my clinical work. During specialist training I was fortunate to work with blessed knee surgeons who both generously and patiently shared their knowledge and surgical skills for me to continue their mission.

As a consultant my clinical work is centered around knee arthroplasty procedures (partial, total and revision) and osteotomies around the knee.

The variation in knee joint laxity following total knee arthroplasty and the implication of this laxity was the topic for my PhD project, the ambition is to establish further knowledge on which range of laxity that favors optimal pain relief and functional recovery.

I am committed to both registry based research and clinical studies on reconstructive knee surgery.
