Lili Worre Høpfner Jensen
My background is rooted in clinical nursing, followed by a Master's degree in Clinical Science and Technology at Aalborg University. I completed my PhD in 2024, where I focused on improving post-discharge communication between patients and healthcare professionals across settings through the use of team-based digital communication.
My current research builds on these experiences and is centered on enhancing communication and care coordination for caregivers of children with physical disabilities. This work involves the development, evaluation, and implementation of a cross-disciplinary and cross-sector communication solution. The project is carried out in close collaboration with software developers, clinicians, researchers, municipalities, and regional stakeholders, and aims to move the solution from prototype to real-world implementation.
I am broadly interested in all aspects of communication in healthcare, especially how digital technologies can enhance, structure, and support it, and I also contribute to several other projects where communication and digital solutions are central themes.
Across all my projects, my research is grounded in user involvement and interdisciplinary collaboration, ensuring that the digital tools we develop genuinely meet the needs of patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals.
