Den medicin, du skal bruge til behandling, udleveres altid efter forudgående samtale med MRSA-teamet. Ordinationer er derfor engangsordinationer. Når behandlingen er aftalt, bestiller MRSA-teamet medicinen på Sygehusapoteket.

Leveringen sker til medicinboksen på det hospital, hvor du helst vil hente den. Du skal forvente, at der kan gå op til 4 hverdage, før medicinen bliver leveret i boksen. Du modtager en SMS, når medicinen er klar til afhentning.

• Når din medicin er klar, modtager du en SMS. I SMS’en er der en kode, som du skal bruge til at åbne lågen i medicinboksen. 
• Du har 4 dage til at hente medicinen, før den sendes tilbage. 
• Hvis du afhenter medicin, der skal på køl, skal du huske at medbringe egnet emballage til hjemtransport.

Visse kommuner tager imod medicinrester og fyldte kanylebokse på genbrugspladser eller fx via de røde kasser til farligt affald/miljøkassen. Undersøg hvad der gælder i din kommune ift. indlevering af medicinrester og kanylebokse. Desuden har alle apoteker pligt til at modtage medicinrester fra forbrugere med henblik på destruktion.

How to collect medication from the Medicine Post Box (MPB)

Medicine Post Boxes (MPB) are used for dispensing hospital medication at all hospitals in the region. Collection is possible almost around the clock, every day of the week. You can choose the hospital which suits you best to collect your medication.

The medication you need for treatment is always dispensed following consultation with the MRSA team. Prescriptions are therefore one-time prescriptions. Once the treatment has been agreed upon, the MRSA team orders the medication from the Hospital Pharmacy.

The medication is delivered to the Medicine Post Box (MPB) at the hospital where you prefer to collect it. You should expect that delivery to the locker may take up to 4 working days. You will receive an SMS when the medication is ready for collection.

• When your medication is ready, you will receive an SMS. The SMS contains a code you need to open the locker.
• You have 4 days to collect the medication before it is returned.
• If you are collecting medicine that must be refrigerated, please make sure to bring a suitable packaging to carry it home.

Certain municipalities accept disposal of pharmaceutical waste and filled sharp disposal containers at local recycling centers or for example using the red boxes for dangerous waste. Follow your community guidelines for disposal of pharmaceutical waste and sharp disposal containers. All community pharmacies are obliged to accept pharmaceutical waste from consumers for destruction.
