0.5 million dkr. Research grant from Svend Andersen Fonden

Professor Ole Rahbek have received a 0.5 mill dkr project grant from the Novo Nordic Foundations Surgical Research Program to support the development of Ahmed Abdul-Hussein Abood, Phd novel concept for individualized rotation of long bones by guided growth. We will strive to develop minimal invasive surgery with minor risk and discomfort for the patients. Not only will the project have the potential of shifting current practice of large surgical procedure to low-cost outpatient procedures but may also change our current practice from of the shelf implants to customized inexpensive 3D printed implants.
