An Ultra-Short Stemless Femoral Hip Prosthesis - A Concise Follow-up, at 10 Years, of a Previous Report
The study is a follow-up on an ultra-short femoral prosthesis implanted in younger arthroplasty patients as part of a pilot study initiated by former colleague Poul Torben Nielsen.
The study shows that the prosthesis is durable in the long term, with very good PROM values and minimal stress shielding despite a small but significant varus tilt.
