New publication in Ugeskriftet for Laeger

Developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) in children is a common condition, which affects approximately 1% of alle children, but how do we screen for this condition and what is the underlying evidence?

National guidelines and standardized education of primary screeners are logical first steps and evidence suggests that universal ultrasound screening of all children is the direction we should be moving in.
