Sampling challenges in diagnosis of chronic bacterial infections
The present article gives a review of the literature with focus on sampling challenges in chronic infection. Emphasis is on the challenges when dealing with biofilm and on how the culture bacteria from biofilm. New method in sampling and diagnostics are presented.
