Gigtforeningen grants 250.000 DKK to prevent hip arthrosis related to childhood hip dysplasia
This is part of an ambitious project, originating from Danish Pediatric Orthopedic Research, a collaboration between Aalborg University Hospital and Aarhus University Hospital, which aims to prevent undiagnosed childhood hip dysplasia and arthrosis of the hip, through innovative ultrasound measurement techniques and interdisciplinary collaboration between orthopaedic surgeons, radiologists and midwives.
