Title: New pharmacological treatment to preserve renal function after ischemic kidney surgery.

Summary: The PhD project is investigating the possibilities for improving renal outcomes after partial nephrectomy with the use of a drug (Entresto) that increase the life of Natriuretic Peptides and its benefits. The research will be based on PRISMA review and  a randomized animal model (pigs) of partial laparoscopic nephrectomy.

Title: The Impact of Low Pneumoperitoneum on Patient and Surgeon Outcomes during Robot-Assisted Radical Prostatectomy (RARP): A Randomized Clinical Study

Summary: This randomized clinical trial investigates the impact of low pneumoperitoneum on post-operative quality and recovery, the feasibility of performing robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) under low pneumoperitoneum conditions, and the risk of acute kidney injury. The study assesses acute kidney injury using six different biomarkers measured before and after surgery, providing valuable insights into the potential benefits and challenges of low pneumoperitoneum during RARP procedures.
