Perthes disease now and in the future?

Professor Harry Kim has his daily work at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (TSRHC) in Dallas, Texas, one of America’s most prestigious hospitals within the field of pediatric orthopedics. His research has been focused on the causes of the hip disorder Perthes Disease and he is the initiator behind the International Perthes study group. As an honorary professor, Harry Kim will participate in an interdisciplinary collaboration on including artificial intelligence in diagnostic imaging and development of prediction algorithms as a decision-making tool. This is collaboration between Aalborg University Hospital and engineers at Aalborg University.
