We can provide you with different strategies to cope with the pain. Most of the time it is all about changing the way you do things, and maybe even the way you think. At Tværfagligt Smertecenter we will help you to a better understanding of your body and pain, so you will be able to better help yourself.
Below you will find advice on how to cope with your pain, and some of it you might want to try out before you come to Tværfagligt Smertecenter next time.
When you look at the advice, remember it is never easy to change habits or routines – or to make changes. That’s why it’s important to start with baby-steps.
Working towards a goal and to achieve it, will motivate you to keep on going.
Achieving smaller goals, will help motivate you to work towards bigger goals, and that way you can make bigger changes.
